Neill’s Flowers, Pullman, WA

Neill's Flowers & Gifts, is located in Pullman, Washington and has been serving the flower needs of the Pullman, Washington State University and surrounding communities for over 100 years.

Neill's Flowers, started by Roy Neill as Campus View Greenhouses in 1910, became Neill's Sweet Shop(still sold flowers) in 1920 when the business moved to its current location.  It became a member of FTD (Floral Telegraph Delivery) in 1921.  In spring of 1941 the building was remolded to include "modern refrigeration" and remove the soda fountain.  In 1945 Roy was joined in business by his son Greg who helped grow the business over the years.  In October of 1972 Mitch and Mary Jo Chandler moved to Pullman with the hopes of buying a flower shop after Mitch graduated from the Floral Design Institute of Portland.  They were able to purchase the shop in 1978 when Greg retired.  Mitch and Mary Jo had three children that worked in the shop over the years, but only Christopher learned the art of floral design from his father.  Chris left the business upon getting marred, then returned in 2015 after spending 12 years on the wholesales side of the business.  Chris and Mitch now run the shop and share the designing responsibilities.
